“Square” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 423117, case No. 263174. Made in the 1940s. Fine, square, 18K yellow gold lady's wristwatch. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, central lugs which opens via a hinge for easy changing of bracelet. Two-tone champagne with painted square indexes. Blued steel "épée" hands. Notes This watch is one of the earliest watches produced which allowed the owner to easily change the bracelet, allowing a choice between several bracelets.
