“Ostrich Feathers” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 289454, case No. 177512. Made circa 1892. Very fine, hunting-cased, keyless, 18K pale pink gold pocket watch with unusual dial and movement. Four-body, "bassine", solid, polished, hinged gold cuvette with inscription. White enamel with painted stylized Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Gold "Breguet" hands.
