Very fine 18K multicolored gold pair-cased, quarter repeating pocket watch. Outer, two-body Louis XVI, the bezels with applied multicolored floral and foliage decoration, the back chased with an urn of flowers and military trophies. Inner two-body "bassine", with pierced and engraved foliate decoration. White enamel with Islamic numerals, outer minute track with Islamic five minute numerals. Gold "beetle and poker" hands. 41 mm, hinged gilt-brass fill plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and English gilt-brass pierced and engraved cock with polished steel end-piece. Quarter repeating on a bell activated by depressing the pendant, Gilt-brass dust-cap. Dial, movement and dust cover signed. Diam. 59 mm.
