Very fine and rare, stainless steel and yellow gold gentleman’s wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle. Three-body, polished and brushed, yellow gold bezel and winding crown. Black with applied faceted yellow gold baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, guilloche subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold “baton” hands. Cal.453, 13’’’, rhodium plated, “fausses cotes” decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic beryllium balance adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm. Thickness 8 mm. Notes Very few steel and gold wristwatches were made by Vacheron & Constantin.
