So-called “Hour-Glass” Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 970432, case No. 653006, Ref. 1593. Made circa 1948. Very fine and rare, rectangular "bombé", flared, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave sides, pillar shaped lugs, two-facet crystal. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold dart and dot indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold "feuille" hands. Notes Ref. 1593 Production of this reference started in 1944. This reference was made in pink, white and yellow gold and very few examples with polychrome cloisonné enamel dials.
