Beautiful and extremely rare platinum, enamel and diamond half-open face ultra-thin lady's wristwatch with a platinum and yellow gold expandable bracelet composed of 7 translucent blue enamel diamond-set elements, each set with 2 rows of rose-cut diamonds. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Four-body, “bassine”, solid, polished, "guilloché", platinum bezel band covered with translucent blue enamel decoration surrounded two rows of rose cut diamonds, central integral lugs also set with diamonds, bracelet en suite, case back with engraved monogram FFM, hinged platinum cuvette. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals and outer minute track. Blued steel "spade" hands. Notes This magnificent platinum, enamel, and diamond lady’s wristwatch is a fine example of Patek Philippe’s interpretation of the “belle époque” style, and is a natural development of the firm’s wellknown lady’s pendant watches. The Extract from the Archives accompanying the watch confirms its manufacture in 1910, making it one of the earliest Patek Philippe wristwatches to have appeared at auction.
