“Coin Watch” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 559257, case No. 368359, Ref. 4928. Made in the 1970’s. Very fine and extra thin, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch fitted into a 20 U.S. dollar gold coin dated 1904. Four-body, solid, polished, straight lugs; on one side, the American Eagle, the shield and the mottos "E Pluribus Unum," and on the other, "In God we Trust,” the effigy of Liberty, the coin opening through a push button in the reeded band. Champagne with painted indexes. Blued steel "bâton" hands. Cal. 1003, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness: 4 mm.
