Ref. 6431/6430 “SPEEDKING” Rolex, "Oyster, Speedking, Precision", Ref. 6431/6430. Case No. 3022338. Made in 1970/72. Fine and rare, center seconds, waterresistant, stainless steel mid-sized wristwatch with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by the original guarantee (now void). Three-body, polished, stainless steel screwed-down case back and crown, engine turned bezel with hour divisions. Matte silver with applied baton and dart indexes and luminous dots, outer minute/seconds divisions. Luminous stainless steel “baton” hands. Cal. 1225, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance, shockabsorber, self-compensating flat balancespring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 31 mm. Thickness 9.5 mm. Notes Reference 6431 appeared in the Rolex catalogue from 1964 through 1987. Reference 6430 is the identical watch with plain bezel.
