“Extra-Flat Dress” Agassiz Watch Co. , Switzerland, No. 240343. Made for Tiffany & Co., circa 1920. Fine, very thin, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch. Four-body, "demi-bassine", solid, polished, case back centered by a lozenge, hinged gold cuvette. Champagne with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Black "spade" hands. Cal. 20/12, nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 6 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial signed “Tiffany & Co., Switzerland”; case and movement signed “Agassiz Watch Co.”. Diam. 44 mm.
