“Octagonal Dress Watch” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, made for E. Gübelin, Luzern, No. 393151, case No. 245113. Made in the 1930s. Very fine and rare, octagonal, keyless, 18K yellow gold and enamel Art Deco dress watch with ivory dial. Three-body, solid, bezel and case back decorated with matching blue and green enamel repeated pattern, enameled monogram on the case back. Light blue-colored ivory with painted stylized Arabic numerals, outer minute track, off-white center with colored floral decoration. Blued steel “cathédrale” hands.
