“Moon Phases” Le Phare, Swiss, No. 50652. Made circa 1910. Fine, hunting-cased, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with triple date, chronograph and moon phases. Four-body, “bassine”, solid, polished, monogrammed case back, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer 1/5th seconds chronograph track with 5- minute/seconds Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the date, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Blued steel “spade” hands. Cal. 21’’’, frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, polished steel chronograph work mounted on the back plate, repeating on gongs by activating button on the band.
