Very fine, tonneau-shaped, astronomic, self-winding, 18K pink gold gentleman’s wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, 24-hour indication and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished, transparent case back, sapphire crystals. Satiné silvered gold with applied pink gold Breguet numerals, subsidiary “guilloché” dials for the days of the month, of the week, the months, the leap year, the 24-hours, aperture for the moon phases. Pink gold “Breguet” hands. Cal. 240 Q, stamped with the Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Glucydur Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance-spring, 22K gold micro-rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 35 x 43 mm. Thickness 8 mm. Notes Ref. 5040 Was produced in yellow, pink, and white gold, as well as in platinum, all wih glazed back except for the platinum version, which has a solid platinum back.
