Ref. 9659 “Pink Gold” Rolex "Précision", Ref. 9659. Case No. 1031405. Made in 1964. Fine and elegant, center seconds, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with a pink gold-plated Rolex buckle. Two-body, polished, straight curved lugs. Silver with applied gold baton indexes outer dot minute/seconds divisions. Pink gold "baton" hands. Cal. 1210, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balancespring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 9 mm. Notes Reference 9659 was available in 18K yellow and 18K pink gold and appeared in the Rolex catalogue from 1960 to 1972 as an “Elegant Watch”.
