Fine and rare, center seconds, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with second generation gas-escape valve, date and stainless steel Oyster “Fliplock” bracelet. Accompanied by the original guarantee (now void). Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down engraved case back, graduated uni-directional revolving bezel for the decompression times, "Triplock" windingcrown protected by the "Crown-Guard", gas-escape valve at 9, sapphire crystal. Black with luminous steel round, triangular and bâton indexes, outer minute/seconds division, aperture for the date. Luminous steel "Skeleton" hands. Cal. 3135, rhodium plated, 27-jewels, straight line lever escapement, free-sprung monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance- spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Height 15 mm. Notes Reference 16600/16660 replaced reference 1665 in 1986. The primary differences are the 1 mm thick sapphire crystal, second generation gas-escape valve and uni-directional revolving bezel.
