Ref. 3668. Stainless Steel and Pink Gold “Antimagnetic” Rolex, “Oyster, Chronograph, Antimagnetic", Ref. 3668. Case No. 45343. Made in 1940. Very fine and extremely rare, water-resistant, stainless steel and 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, 30-minute register, tachometer and telemeter and a steel Rolex buckle. Two-body, bi-colored, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, engine-turned pink gold bezel with dot and baton hour divisions, yellow gold patent Oyster winding-crown, concave lugs. Pink with black painted Arabic numerals and baton indexes, outer minute/seconds divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outermost tachometer and telemeter graduations. Blued steel "baton" hands. Notes Reference 3668 is very similar in design to the “Monoblocco” (Ref. 4500) It was only produced in stainless steel with yellow or pink gold graduated bezel, welded to the steel case.
