Ref. 4500, Pink Gold So-Called “Monoblocco” Rolex, “Oyster, Chronograph, Anti-Magnetic”, Ref. 4500. Case No. 480918. Made in 1946. Very fine and exceptionally rare, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, tachometer, telemeter and gold plated Rolex buckle. Two-body, polished, screwed-down case back and crown. Satiné silver with applied gold baton indexes, Arabic 6 and 12, inner minute/seconds divisions with Arabic five minute/second markers, subsidiary seconds and 30- minute register dials, outer tachometer and telemeter scales. Gold "baton" hands. Notes Reference 4500 was produced in the mid-1940s in stainless steel, steel and gold as well as 18K yellow and 18K pink gold.
