Ref. 2303, “Single Button Chronograph” Rolex, Ref. 2303. Case No. 17890. Made in 1935, retailed by Ronchi Milano. Very fine and extremely rare, small, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with co-axial button chronograph, registers, tachometer and the original Rolex leather strap and gold buckle. Two-body, brushed, concave lugs. Two-tone, “Sector” with printed baton indexes and Arabic 6 and 12, outer minutes and fifth second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register, outer tachometer. Blued steel “feuille" hands. Notes When reference 2303 was launched it was advertised as “the smallest chronograph in the world”. This Reference was available in stainless steel and 18K and 14K yellow gold.
