Ref. 3064 So Called “Rigid Hooded Steel and Pink Gold” Rolex, “Oyster Perpetual, Chronomètre”, Ref. 3064. Case No. 43496. Made in 1938. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, self-winding, waterresistant, stainless steel and pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with pink gold hooded lugs and stainless steel and pink gold expanding Oyster bracelet. Three-body, bi-colored, polished and brushed, pink gold bezel, hooded lugs and winding-crown, steel case. Matte pink with raised pink gold Arabic quarters and minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Pink gold “baton" hands. Notes So-called “Rigid Hooded” watches in such good un-restored condition are rarely found in the combination of steel and pink gold. The dial is exceptional because the hour numerals and the minute track are in relief. The caliber 9 3/4’’’, Ref. 620, was created in 1936 and was in regular production between 1940 and 1951.
