Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold tonneau-shaped, astronomic, antimagnetic, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with triple date and moon phases. Accompanied by an 18K yellow gold-plated Rolex buckle. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, inclined bezel. Satiné sunray silver with applied yellow gold faceted dart indexes and luminous dots, subsidiary seconds dial, outer graduation for the days of the month in black Arabic numerals, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Luminous yellow gold "dauphine" hands. Cal. 655, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to seven positions, shockabsorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Notes Ref. 6062. Produced from 1949 to 1953, with 350 examples in yellow gold, 50 examples in pink gold and very few in stainless steel. This reference features a great variety of indexes; with the rarest being the diamond indexes and then the star indexes. Very few examples have black dials, and only two are known with black dial and diamond indexes. Watches with black dials always had the moon featured on a black enamel sky.
