Fine and very rare, oversized, rectangular curved, astronomic, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with bi-retograde day and date, moon phases and an 18K white gold Roger Dubuis buckle. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, transparent case back with eight screws, straight lugs with screwed white gold bars, sapphire crystals. Satiné silver with large red radial Arabic numerals, sectors for the retrograde day and date, aperture for the moon phases. Blued steel "spade" hands. Cal. 5740, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to five positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 34 x 47 mm. Thickness: 14 mm.
