Very fine and rare, large, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K white gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, flat bezel, concave lugs. Brushed silver with applied white gold faceted bâton indexes and engraved dot minute indexes. White gold "Dauphine" hands. Cal. 27-SC, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodiumplated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness: 10 mm. Notes Ref. 570 Production of this reference started in 1939. The first examples of reference 570 with caliber 12‘’’-120, 12 SC, 13‘’’ CC and 12‘’’-400 were produced from 1938 on. The first examples with caliber 27-SC began to be produced in 1950.
