Very fine and rare, astronomic, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle and setting tool. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe box and the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, transparent case back, stepped bezel with "hobnail" pattern, sapphire crystals. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold faceted bâton indexes, subsidiary dials for the days of the month, of the week, the months, the 24 hours and the leap year, aperture for the moon phases. Yellow gold "dauphine" hands. Cal. 240 Q stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, 22K gold micro-rotor mounted on ball bearings. Originally the watch was available in white, yellow and pink gold, and is now only offered in white and yellow gold.
