Four-body, “basine”, polished and matted, hinged and sprung front cover with glazed aperture and blue champlevé enamel radial Roman numerals, inner minute track, the back cover decorated with a portrait bust of a gentleman in relief surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold “Spade” hands. 40 mm. 18’’’, frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
