“Corps of Engineers U. S.A” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 380979, case No. 234726. Made for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1918. Fine and interesting, keyless, silver pocket watch with chronograph. Four-body, "bassine", polished. Dedicated hinged silver cuvette. White enamel with bold Arabic numerals, outer 5-minute/seconds Arabic and 1/5th seconds chronograph scales, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "skeleton" hands.
