Very fine and rare, gunmetal, keyless pocket watch with chronograph and unusual 24-hour dial. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold crown, bow and locking bolt for the chronograph. Hinged gun metal cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals intersected by red painted 24-hour numerals within gold painted rectangles, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. Notes The dial of this watch is an unusual example of its type. The Arabic 13-24 have been integrated into the Roman I-XII, as opposed to the more usual layout in which the 13-24 are placed above or below the Roman numerals.
