Blued steel Breguet hands. 42 mm., frosted gilt, simple nouveau calibre, three lateral bridges, standing barrel, ruby cylinder escapement, plain three-arm brass balance with pare-chute on the upper pivot, flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator with bimetallic temperature compensation curb. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm. Notes The Breguet archives record that this watch was either lost or misplaced on 30th August 1809, this phrase was often written in the archives when a watch was even momentarily missing or mislaid at the time of inventory-taking.
