Ref. 4062, So-called “Coin-Edge” Rolex Chronographe "Anti-magnétique", Ref. 4062. Case No. 539969, Made in 1962. Very fine, oversized, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter. Three-body, solid, polished, coin-edge band, stepped bezel, thin teardrop lugs. Satiné silver, applied yellow gold baton indexes, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer black tachometer graduation, blue telemeter scale, concentric fifths of a second scale with Arabic five second numerals. It is also of interest that in period advertising this watch cost 35% more than a stainless steel reference 5036 Oyster chrono-calendar. This watch is illustrated in “Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches”, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 412.
