Cartier Paris, No. 1884. Made circa 1930. Fine "Pendule de bureau calendrier", sterling silver and 18K yellow gold 8-day going desk clock with manual triple calendar. Shaped rectangular, silver, a pair of pyramidal lapis lazuli cabochons set on the lateral panels, gold engine-turned bezel. Champagne with Roman numerals, engine-turned center and apertures for the days of the week, months and dates. Blue champlevé enameled gold hands. gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to 3 positions, Breguet balance spring. Case and dial signed, movement signed “European Watch & Clock Co.”, case numbered. Dim. 11 x 7 cm.
