“Minute-repeating Chronograph” Patek Philippe & Co. , Genève, No. 90192, case No.208951. Made in the 1890s. Very fine, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold pocket watch with chronograph. Recently serviced by Patek Philippe. Four-body, “demi-bassine”, solid, polished, hinged gold cuvette. Off-white with painted radial Arabic numerals, outer minute and concentric 1/5th seconds chronograph track, subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold “Louis XVI” hands. Cal. 16’’’, maillechort, “fausses-côtes” decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, wolf’s tooth winding wheels, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 45 mm.
