“Teardrop Lugs” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 464647, case No. 302620. Made in the 1940s. Very fine and rare, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch. Two-body, solid, polished, oversized teardrop lugs. Matte silver with applied pink gold faceted dart indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold “bâton” hands. Cal. V 458, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, blued steel Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 31 mm. Thickness 8 mm.
