Movado, Ref. 9038. Produced in the 1950s. Very fine, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, stepped bezel, triangular lugs, dust protecting cap. Matte silver with applied yellow gold dot indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary "guilloché" dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer tachometer graduation in painted blue Arabic numerals, concentric, the 1/5th second scale and the minutes in red Arabic numerals. Yellow gold “épee" hands.
