Very fine and rare, oversized, "carré galbé", self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with date and a stainless steel Patek Philippe bracelet with deployant clasp. Two-body, polished and brushed, sapphire crystal. Anthracite with horizontal stripes, applied luminous steel bâton indexes, aperture for the date. luminous steel baton hands. Cal. 28-255 C, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 36 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Glucydur Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, 18K gold rotor segment. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 44 x 42 mm. Thickness 8 mm. Notes The case back on this watch does not bear serial number. According to the Extract of the Archives, the case was provided by the customer. Production of the “Nautilus” started in 1976.
