“Quarter Repeating & Chronograph” Perfekt, Swiss, No. 13244. Made circa 1910. Fine, 14K pink gold hunting cased, quarter repeating keyless pocket watch with chronograph. Four-body, “bassine”, polished, the front cover with an applied engraved gold monogram, chronograph button in the band at 2 o’clock. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, outermost fifths of a second divisions and Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold “Louis XV” hands. 48 mm., frosted gilt, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on two gongs activated by a button in the band, centrifugal governor for the repeating. Movement signed. Diam. 58 mm.
