“Split Seconds Chronograph – Regulator Dial” Patek Philippe & Co. , Genève, No. 48481. Made for Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia, in 1881. Very fine and extremely rare, 18K yellow gold, keyless "special" half open-faced pocket watch with split seconds chronograph and regulator dial. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Four-body, "bassine", polished, hinged bezel over a fixed bezel, chronograph button in the crown, split seconds button and locking slide in the band at 10 and 11 o’clock. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication.
