“Two-Tone, Coin-Shaped” Breguet, No. 4784. Sold on 15 January 1946. Very fine and unusual, coin-shaped, 18K yellow gold and platinum gentleman' s wristwatch with an 18K gold deployant clasp. Three-body, solid, polished, wide stepped bezel, reeded band, concealed lugs, flat crystal. Matte silver with applied gold dot indexes and quarter Arabic numerals. Yellow gold baton hands. Notes This elegant and extremely rare watch is called “coin-shaped” due to the roundness of its case without lugs, and to the fluting of its band.
