Ref. 4500, Steel So-called “Monoblocco” Rolex, “Oyster, Chronograph, Anti-Magnetic”, Ref. 4500, case No. 427106. Made in 1946. Very fine and rare, tonneau shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, tachometer and a stainless steel riveted Oyster bracelet. Two-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and dart indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer blue mileage scale, outermost black tachometer scale. Luminous gold tapered "baton" hands. Notes Ref. 4500 Was produced in the mid-1940s in stainless steel, steel and gold as well as 18K yellow and 18K pink gold.
