“Diamond Pendant” Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 84568, case No. 201616. Made for C. Fredenhagen, Agent Général, Buenos Aires, in 1889, sold on September 14th, 1889. Very fine, 18K pink gold hunting-cased, diamond-set keyless lady’s pendant watch, suspended from a diamond-set chain. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Four body, "bassine", polished, the front cover pave set with 84 old-mine cut diamonds and a border of rose-cut diamonds, a large round diamond in the center. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals and outer minute track. Blued steel "spade" hands.
