“Very Thin Enamel & Diamonds” Attributed to Haas Neveux & Cie, Genève, No. 49594. Made for Dreicer & Co., (New York), circa 1910. Very fine, very thin and elegant, 18K gold, enamel and rosecut diamond-set keyless dress watch with a platinum and enamel long chain. Three-body, “bassine”, the back cover overlaid with translucent Royal blue enamel over an engine-turned ground, the center with an applied platinum and rose-cut diamond-set motif, bezel decorated to match with white line border and bow. Matte silvered, black Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel “spade” hands. 17’’’, rhodium-plated, “fausses-cotes” decoration, “Extra Adjusted”, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, index regulator. Diam. 48 mm. Notes Haas Neveux & Cie. created the elegant extra-flat watch with winding mechanism.
