Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold and red translucent enamel 'Boule de Genève' keyless bangle braceletwatch in the form of a cherry, with concealed dial and bezel winding and hand-setting. To be sold without reserve Cherry-form, red enameled, solid, fluted bezel with dot decoration, polished hinged gold bangle with realistic stalks. White enamel with painted blue radial Arabic numerals, the 12 in red, gold dot minute divisions. Gold “spade” hands. Notes Boule de Genève “Boule de Genève” watches usually incorporate double-plan movements and the revolving bezel winding system patented by Marius LeCoultre of Geneva on 12 January, 1889, Swiss patent No. 114. “Boule de Genève” mounted as a wristwatch are very rare, most of them being pendant or brooch-watches.
