C. H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 2766. Made in the 1880s for the North American market. Fine and rare, hunting-cased, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K rose gold pocket watch with chronograph. Four-body, "bassine et filets,” solid, polished, front cover with engraved monogram, the interior of the back cover with engraved names. Hinged gold cuvette. Three-piece, white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, red painted Arabic five second numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands.
