Platinum "Tank Cintrée” Cartier, Paris, "Tank Cintrée", sold by Cartier New York in August 1942. Extremely fine and equally rare, rectangular curved, platinum mid-sized wristwatch with a platinum Cartier bracelet à 13 rangs, concealed deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original fitted box, bill of sale and Cartier Certificate of Authenticity Two-body, solid, brushed, case back with screws, sapphire-set winding-crown. Matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals and inner minute track. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. Notes A similar watch is illustrated on the cover of “White Cartier”, by Osvaldo Patrizzi.
