Accompanied by a fitted box and a certificate. Three-body, solid, polished, reeded band, rounded bezel, gold screwed bars, transparent case back, sapphire crystals. Off-center, hand-guilloche, two-tone silver with radial Roman numerals, retrograde power reserve indication at 11 o´clock. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. Cal. 507 DR, “Souscription” shaped, sand-blasted surface finish, 34 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with four regulating screws, “parachute” absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, hack mechanism. Hayek and the designers of the Breguet firm had the courage and vision to adapt the characteristics of Breguet’s original watch - going so far as to reproduce the elastic suspension of the balance and the movement design -- to the requirements of a modern wristwatch, with the added feature of the power reserve.
