Ferdinand Levillain (French, 1837-1905), Figural patinated bronze fishbowl stand with glass fishbowl supported by four elongated leaves surrounding bowl above a female classically dressed watercarrier with handled vessel resting on head. Figure standing at full length and rendered in the round on a circular base with undulating floral vine with gadrooned edge on three bracketed lion's paw feet further raised on circular discs. Signed on base next to woman's foot. Note: Ferdinand Levillain (French, 1837-1905) studied under Jouffray, exhibited at the Salon and won a silver metal at the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris. Height 44", width of base 17.75", depth of base 15".
