“Blue Sky & Flowers” Haas, Genève. Made circa 1915. Very fine, silver and onyx, painted on enamel, 8-day going desk clock. Rectangular with canted corners, the front and sides overlaid with translucent sky-blue enamel over radial engineturning, decorated with painted on enamel pedestal vases, rose swags and clouds, the top and sides decorated to match, hinged back door with engineturned stripes, bead and reel base mounted above a rectangular black onyx base. Frosted gilt chapter ring with Dauphine numerals, outer minute track, center decorated with enamel to match the case. Blued steel “cubiste” hands. Frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 13 x 4 x 9.5 cm.
