Gadrooned square circular rock crystal case with canted corners, mother-of-pearl inlayed silver gilt chapter ring with diamond-set gold double baton indexes, silver gilt case back with rock crystal strut. Black lacquer with abalone shell marquetry inlay depicting a Japanese garden with figures and a house in the foreground and a lake and mountains in the background. Diamond-set hands.
