Very fine, unusual and rare, octagonal, minute-repeating, astronomic, selfwinding, platinum and diamond gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar and moon phases and skeletonized dial. Property of an European Gentleman Two-body, solid, polished, transparent and screwed-down case back, stepped bezel set with 24 baguette-shaped diamonds, "Vendôme" type lugs, sapphire crystals. Transparent, subsidiary silver dials for the days of the month, the week, the months, leap year and in blue with aperture for the moon phases. White gold "baton" hands. Cal. 192, hand engraved, 40 jewels, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating oval pushpiece on the band, skeletonized rotor. From a very young age, he showed a real talent for drawing and painting.
