Fine and highly unusual, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wrist-watch with a spherical dial depicting the Northern hemisphere, a 24-hour individually adjustable sundial hand for geographical reference to noon and a stainless steel Magellan deployant clasp. Two-body, polished, hooded lugs, case back with 6 screws and engraved with an ancient map of the Northernhemisphere, encased winding crown accessible from the case back, domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Spherical multi-colored dial depicting the Northern hemisphere according to an ancient map, outer mother-of-pearlminute/seconds ring with 1/5th graduation in red and grade indication. Black “bâton” hands, individuallyadjustable 24-hour sundial hand for the geographical reference to noon, indicating the position of the sun overthe earth at any given time. Cal. 2893, rhodium plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 21 jewels, straight line leverescapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, micrometer regulator.Case signed.
