Louis XVI paint and parcel gilt decorated Duchesse Brise or chaise lounge with rounded padded and upholstered back to the downswept scrolled arms over a padded and upholstered seat on turned, tapered and fluted legs headed with rosette blocks. Height 38.5", width 68 inches, depth 26". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
