Fine and rare, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, 12-hour and 30-minute registers and tachometer. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screw-down case back with logo. Two-tone with faceted black painted indexes, outer minute/seconds and 1/5th second divisions, outermost tachometer graduated to 700uph, subsidiary dials for the constant seconds, the 12-hour and the 30-minute registers. Gold and black painted baton hands. Cal. 321, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 38 x 43 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Property of an Italian Gentleman Notes Cal. 321 Omega’s Cal. 321 with column wheel, was created in 1946. It was formerly called “27 CHRO C12 T2” and was used on first generation “moon watches”. The caliber was replaced in 1968 with cam-caliber 861.
