“Vue de Geneve” Attributed to Raymy’s, Geneva, No. 17. Made in the early 20th century. Fine bakelite, gilt metal and painted on enamel singing bird box. Rectangular, composition, painted on enamel oval lid decorated with a view of Geneva. Rectangular, 90 x 48 mm, brass, turned pillars, spring barrel, rectangular bellows, bird flapping wings, opening beak and wagging tail, large cam on the edge of and below the barrel, gilt metal grille pierced and engraved with foliate decoration. Dim. 100 x 67 x 32 mm.
